Write for us
Lasting Policy Journal welcomes clear, original proposals that help general readers understand how public policy is framed, designed, implemented or evaluated. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article without an invitation.
What to propose
Pitch an article with a defined question and a clear reader benefit. Strong proposals explain a policy concept, compare distinct approaches, unpack an institutional role or clarify what implementation and evaluation can show. We welcome explanatory essays and carefully framed comparisons that do not rely on readers accepting a particular political conclusion.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the working title, central argument, intended reader and proposed structure. Identify the kinds of sources the piece would need and flag any uncertainty, competing interpretation or relevant location-specific context. Keep the scope manageable and explain what the article will not attempt to establish.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the editorial enquiry option. Include a short account of your relevant perspective, but do not imply credentials or access you do not have. A proposal is not an assignment, and publication is subject to editorial review and any agreed terms.
